Inception Workshop of IQAC, Bangladesh University
The Inception Workshop of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bangladesh University (BU) was successfully held on 20 July 2016. The workshop marked an important step towards strengthening quality assurance practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in academic and administrative activities of the University.
Prof. Dr. Golam Rahman, Acting Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the significance of institutional quality assurance in enhancing teaching, learning, research, and governance in higher education institutions. He highlighted the role of IQAC in ensuring accountability, transparency, and excellence in line with national and international standards.
Prof. Dr. Mesbah Uddin attended the workshop as the Special Guest and shared valuable insights on quality assurance mechanisms and the effective implementation of IQAC activities. He highlighted the importance of faculty and stakeholder engagement in sustaining quality initiatives across the university.
The workshop was also attended by Prof. Dr. Sanjoy Adhikari, along with other distinguished guests, faculty members, and university officials. Their presence and active participation contributed to the meaningful discussions on quality enhancement strategies, self-assessment processes, and the future roadmap of IQAC at Bangladesh University.
The inception workshop concluded with a renewed commitment from the university leadership and participants to work collaboratively towards achieving academic excellence and institutional development through effective quality assurance practices.
