Congratulations to Kazi Latifur Reza on his appointment as the Head, Department of Law, Bangladesh University. We warmly congratulate him on taking this important leadership role and wish him every success in this new responsibility.

Kazi Latifur Reza is an academic and legal professional with over 15 years of experience in university teaching and legal practice. He holds an LL.B. and LL.M. from the University of Dhaka and an LL.M. in Human Rights from the University of East London, UK.

Mr. Reza has previously served in teaching and leadership roles at several private universities in Bangladesh and has professional legal experience in both Bangladesh and the United Kingdom. His research interests include human rights, public interest litigation, medical negligence, civil law, and gender studies.

Mr. Reza has published numerous research articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals and regularly contributes sub-editorials to leading national daily newspapers in both Bangla and English. He is actively involved in curriculum development, quality assurance, and student mentoring.

Mr. Reza frequently contributes opinion pieces and columns to major Bangladeshi news outlets, including Bangla Tribune, Dainik Amader Shomoy, and Protidiner Bangladesh, often writing on contemporary social issues.
