She is currently serving as Additional District and Sessions Judge and has been Deputy Secretary in the Law and Justice Division since March 2025, playing a key role in judicial administration and court proceedings.

• Senior Assistant Judge & Judge, Family Court – Pirojpur

• Lecturer – Northern University Bangladesh
• Adjunct Faculty – North Western University Bangladesh (LL.B. & LL.M.)

🎓 She completed her LL.M. & LL.B. (Hons.) from the University of Rajshahi, achieving First Class First Position in both degrees, and receiving multiple awards, including the Rajshahi University Agrani Bank Gold Medal.

Ms. Salma Akter has participated in several national & international programs on judicial administration, legal aid, ADR, and capacity building, showing her dedication to improving the justice system.
