The Department of Pharmacy successfully finished the academic year in 2025 with considerable achievements in the aspects of teaching, research, professional activities, and community involvement. The department marked its rigorous commitment to excellence in pharmaceutical education.

Academic Activities:

During 2025, the department maintained effective curriculum delivery through lectures, lab sessions, tutorials, seminars, scientific & heritage study tour, skill sessions, pharmaceutical industry and research institution visit as per national and international norms. Continuous assessments, timely conduct of exams, and guidance by faculty members helped enhance the performance of students. Faculty members upgraded the curriculum to include recent advancements in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Research and Publications:

The department focused on research-based learning and laboratory facilities upgradation with installation of many new laboratory equipments. Some researches conducted by the faculties and students led to publications (12) in reputable journals and presentations at international scientific conferences.

Seminar & awarenesses Programs:

In 2025, the department arranged and co-arranged seminars, and awareness programs on various subjects like cancer awareness, drug discovery, youth leadership development meeting SDG goal through plantation of medicinal plants, latest pharmaceutical technologies and role of pharmacists and career enhancement programs for pharmacists. Industry & research institute interaction added further knowledge and skills to the practical acumen of students. Besides, students and teachers actively participated in different national & international seminars, syposiums, career fairs and olympiads outside the university.

Student Development Programs and Activities:

The students successfully engaged in academic competitions, health outreach activities, poster presentations, sports, picnic and social responsibilities. Such activities improved leadership qualities, communication, and ethics among students.

Community Engagement and Public Health Activities:

The department also made efforts in contributing towards community service, either through health awareness campaigns and free medical camp projects.
