The largest architectural summit in the country, Bangladesh ArchSummit 2025, organized by the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB), was successfully held at the Bangladesh–China Friendship Conference Center from 11–13 December 2025. The summit brought together architects, academicians, professionals, and participants from across Bangladesh and abroad.

This year’s ArchSummit witnessed the participation of more than 800 architects, along with 12 foreign architects representing the United States of America, China, South Korea, Thailand, India, and Nepal. The event was virtually graced by the Honorable Chief Advisor of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, which added significant national prominence to the occasion.

The Department of Architecture, Bangladesh University, actively participated in this prestigious national event. Faculty members of the department played key roles in the Organizing Committee and various sub-committees, contributing substantially to the planning, coordination, and successful execution of the summit.
